The circular tour to the Windsborn crater lake and Meerfeld Maar starts in the idyllic town of Manderscheid. A short companion to the waterfall and the Wolfsschlucht is the Kleine Kyll. The observation tower on the Mosenberg offers an excellent view into the distance. From there it is only a stone's throw to the Windsborn crater lake, a small fairytale volcanic crater lake that invites you to linger. A little tip: plan a little more time to enjoy the peace and quiet!The next highlight is just a few kilometres away: the Meerfeld Maar. Here the volcanic silhouette shows itself in a very special way.
