RheinBurgenWeg Stage 12: Bacharach–Trechtingshausen (north–south)

Off to the Middle Ages! Today is the king's stage, which is quite challenging at 21 km and over 800 meters in altitude. But the varied route from Bacharach to the Binger Forest and down to Trechtingshausen is also record-breaking in other respects: proud 5 castles and castle ruins line the route and do credit to the Rheinburgenweg today!
