Today's stage to Rhens starts at the Rittersturz, where the Basic Law was once negotiated. Past Celtic traces on the Dommelsberg, after a quiet passage through the forest, you can make a detour to Stolzenfels Castle, which is a symbol of Rhine romanticism. Then you reach the meadow orchards around Rhens through varied forest, where you can make a flying visit to the Königsstuhl before you finally go down to the idyllic half-timbered town on the Rhine.
