The medieval synagogue with a women's school and the excellently preserved ritual baths (Hebrew: mikwe), built before 1128, the oldest of its kind in Germany, now constitute the centre of the Judenhof. The SchPIRA Museum exhibits original windows, architectural elements and coins from the medieval synagogue and ritual baths.
