Hunsrück Wood Museum

Morbach-Weiperath · Hunsrück

Wood is only a monosyllabic word but a world full of beauty and wonder is hidden behind it. The Federal President, Theodor Heuss, spoke from the souls of the people of Hunsrueck when using this sentence, in that wood has coined the life of the people here for hundreds of years. Hence, it was only right to devote a native museum to wood. One can experience wood in all senses in the Hunsruecker Wood Museum. There is something to see, fell, smell, hear und even taste everywhere. Numerous exhibits and display boards invite one to marvel and experiment. The small cosy restaurant offers regional delicaties, warm meals, coffee and a small choice of cakes at weekends.
