Government bunker documentation centre

The former government bunker in the Ahr valley opens its nuclear bomb-proof gates as a museum.
Parts of the complex are open to visitors, inviting young and old from all over the world.
This is both a challenge and a responsibility for the "Alt-Ahrweiler" local history association, which is responsible for the documentation site, as the employees accompany the visitors on their 1.5-hour guided tour of the bunker through an underground world which until recently was subject to strict secrecy.

Wearing an FFP2 or medical mask is currently mandatory at the government bunker.
The 2G rule (vaccinated & recovered) currently applies in the government bunker.
The 3G rule applies to children and young people between the ages of 13 and 17.
Children up to the age of 12 have the same status as immunized people.

Dogs are not permitted.
At a temperature of 12 degrees, warm clothing is recommended.
