Bitburger Erlebniswelt
Bitburg · Eifel
The home of Bitburger
Come to the Bitburger Erlebniswelt to experience our number one draught beer with all five senses
Although the actual brewing plant was moved to the outskirts of Bitburg in the 1980s to allow for increased capacity, Bitburger still maintains a presence in the heart of the city. The foundation walls of the original brewery building date back to the mid-19th century, and this historic structure now houses the 1,700m2 Bitburger Erlebniswelt experience.
Guided tours offer visitors the opportunity to see, hear, feel, smell and taste how Germany’s number one draught beer is made. The exhibition vividly portrays the historic development of the company and the brewing traditions of Bitburger alongside information on the raw ingredients used, the brewing process and bottling procedures. The Erlebniswelt showcases the high quality standards that underpin the Bitburger company philosophy. Short explanatory videos show the individual stages of the production process and reveal the care and passion with which Bitburger is brewed. After the tour, visitors are invited to assess the results for themselves at the Bit Lounge in the former boiler house of the brewery.
The admission fee of €9 includes a guided tour of the former brewery plus two free drinks at the Bit Lounge. Bitburger also offers an additional three drinks vouchers to encourage guests to explore the local dining options.
Bookings are required prior to your visit to the Bitburger Erlebniswelt. Further information and details on guided tours and other offers, such as Bitburger beer-tasting experiences, can be found at www.bitburger.de/besuch
