At the foot of the legendary "Landskrone" in the Heppingen district is the Burggarten winery, which has been managed by our family of winemakers for four generations. In the former Heppinger winegrowers' association, wines such as Pinot Noir or Dornfelder mature almost exclusively in wooden barrels in the historic quarry stone vaulted cellar. For example, the Burggarten winery has received the coveted state honor award several times in recent years due to the very good quality of the products.
Constant perception is also perception of time. In May 2005 we have a wine quarter with 14 different themed rooms and large holiday apartments right next to our winery. The finally owned architect Hans-Jürgen Mertens saw that the imposing and different hotel building belonged to tradition and modernity.
