The Alte Posthof - a historical idyll - situated in the centre of Lieser, writes over 500 years of history. For lovers of historical buildings, this is a unique and charming holiday home with the charm and character of the past postal era.
On the Dutch postal route from Brussels to Innsbruck and Italy, the Thurn und Taxissche - located on the Moselle - Posthof in Lieser was certainly a special and important location for communication and mediation in this age and is one of the greatest contemporary witnesses of many special events in the Bernkastel district.
Many historical years later, the rustic holiday homes - almost as in the origin, as far as stairs and room sizes are concerned - but adapted to today's standards, are available to guests as holiday homes.
The three Posthof holiday homes differ in size and sleeping accommodations and offer - each one for itself - underlined by striking details, behind listed facades, each with its own terraces and loggias, which invite to a cosy get-together in the protected inner courtyard during the warm summer months.
