Nürburgring: Born to be loud

It’s a legend. The Mecca for motorsports enthusiasts. With so many success stories. The Nürburgring in the Eifel has been a crowd puller for almost 100 years. And today, it still casts its spell over hundreds of thousands of car racing enthusiasts. Whether as a spectator of one of the major racing events such as the DTM (German Touring Car Masters) or the 24-hour race or even as an amateur driver or co-driver in a racing car. Once you’ve been through the Green Hell, you’ll never forget it.

Even days before the race, hundreds of fans are camped out in huge tents and countless caravans along the legendary Nordschleife (North Loop). They’re waiting for the myth to turn into reality and the race to begin. Imagine being there live! The Nürburgring is iconic and every event a festival. At around 26 kilometres, the ring is the world’s longest racing track. The North Loop, which achieved its notoriety as the Green Hell, covers almost 21 kilometres of this. But the racing track is not just for spectators. You can also climb into a racing car yourself and go through the Green Hell as a co-driver alongside a pro. Or you can take the wheel and take part in your own race with your car or motorcycle. Experience pure adrenaline like the racing legends Rudolf Caracciola and Michael Schumacher!

The Nürburgring would not be what it is if it were not for the Rock am Ring. The rock festival is at least as iconic as the Nürburgring itself. The all-time greats of rock such as U2, David Bowie, Die Toten Hosen or Linkin Park have already performed here.

Golden tip

Worth gold

During driver safety training at Nürburgring you can get to know your car better and your own driving skills. On sharp turns and slippery asphalt, you’ll train to deal with difficult situations. Safety training is also available for motorcycles.

What also glitters

Lots of fun off the racetrack as well: the ring°werk, the motorsport adventure museum, the ring°kino with a huge 3D screen and the shopping and event mile- ring°boulevard.
